This post is about where to get the best lobster roll on Cape Cod.
1. Chatham Pier Fish Market | Chatham
Firstly, we have this delicious looking lobster roll that tastes just as incredibly good as it looks. If you haven’t been to the Chatham Pier Fish Market, then you missing out. In addition, to good lobster rolls, they serve some of the best fish and chips on the Cape here. (The fries they serve are also my favorite kind of fry, they have that crunchy coating that I love). While you eat, you can watch their fisherman unload the day’s catch at on-site picnic tables with waterfront views.
2. Susuit Harbor Cafe | Dennis
Secondly, we have this beautiful-looking lobster roll from Sesuit Harbor Cafe located in Dennis. If you looking for a laid-back place to grab a lobster roll, then Jesuit Harbor Cafe is perfect. Don’t be surprised to arrive at a quaint seafood shack, wait for a decently long (it’s worth it), and then be sure to secure your picnic table by the water and enjoy the harbor views.
3. The Knack | Hyannis & Orleans
Thirdly, we have lobster rolls from the Knack which are amazing. But actually, everything at the Knack is phenomenal. If you’ve never tried their chicken sandwich then you’re most definitely missing out! Not to mention they have amazing milkshakes and a percentage of dessert profits are donated.
4. Captain Parker’s Pub | West Yarmouth
Next, this yummy-looking lobster roll is from the infamous restaurant known as Captain Parker’s located in Yarmouth. You may or may not have heard of Captain Parkers, they are known for their clam chowder which is one of the best chowders on the Cape. If you’re looking for a casual restaurant experience, Captain Parker’s is perfect for that.
5. The Raw Bar | Hyannis
If you’re in Hyannis, then I recommend stopping at the Raw Bar to get a lobster roll. Their lobster rolls have been voted number one lobster roll in New England by Billy Costa of the TV Diner, Channel 5’s Chronicle, The Phantom Gourmet, V.B, and Maria of Fox News.
6. Skipper Chowder House | Yarmouth
Another one of my favorite places to get a lobster roll is Skipper Chowder House in Yarmouth. Not only are their lobster rolls amazing, but so is their chowder. I also highly recommend trying their fish tacos because they’re so good too. There’s lots of history here too, established in 1936, Skipper Chowder House is one of Cape Cod’s oldest waterfront restaurants with views of Nantucket Sound.
7. Captain Frosty’s | Dennis
Lastly, we have Captain Frosty’s, a 50’s style clam shack located off 6A in Dennis. They have a delicious seafood menu and even an excellent soft-serve ice menu. One of my favorite things to do in the summer is order take from Captain Frosty’s and bring it to the beach to eat. (Chapin and Mayflower Beach are both nearby). There are also some sitting inside with both tables and booths, as well as tables outside.
