Upper Cape Cod Beaches
Upper Cape is comprises of four towns Mashpee, Sandwich, Falmouth, and Bourne.
BOURNE BEACHES
- Monument Beach off Shore Road
- Scusset Beach, off Sagamore Rotary via Scusset Beach Road
- Town Beach, Buttermilk Bay off Rte. 28 and Head of the Bay Road
- Sagamore Beach, Standish Road
Costs: Resident/Taxpayer Sticker is $25, Senior Resident is $15, Non-Resident (Town mooring or shellfish permit holder, local campgrounds) is $50, 1 Week Temporary – Monument Beach Only is $40, and 2 Week Temporary – Monument Beach Only is $60. For more information go here.
FALMOUTH BEACHES
- Menauhant Beach, off Rte. 28 and Central Avenue, E. Falmouth
- Surf Drive Beach, on Surf Drive Road, off Main & Shore Streets
- Old Silver Beach, off Rte. 28A and Quaker Road, N. Falmouth
Costs: Resident/Taxpayer Sticker – purchased online is $40 and purchased by mail or in-person transaction is $45 for one beach season. Seasonal Non-Resident (In-Town) Sticker is $275 and Seasonal Non-Resident (Out-of-Town) Sticker is $375. You can also purchase a One-Week Sticker (non-resident) for $80, Two-Week Sticker (non-resident) for $130, Three-Week Sticker (non-resident) for $175, and a Four-Week Sticker (non-resident) for $225. MASHPEE BEACHES
- South Cape Beach State Park, Great Oak Road
Costs: There are two parking lots, town and state, since this beach is in a state park. In the town lot a Resident Sticker is $30 and a weekly pass is $50. To park in the state parking lot, the daily fee for a MA license plate is $15 and out of state $40. A seasonal resident pass costs $60. For more information go here.
SANDWICH BEACHES
- Town Neck Beach, off Town Neck Road and Rte. 6A – No lifeguards
- Sandy Neck Beach, off Rte. 6A on the Barnstable/Sandwich town line
Costs: A Residential Beach Sticker is $35 and a Non-Resident is $105. The Residential Daily rate is $20 and a weekly pass is $50. Non-resident daily passes can be purchased at Oak Cove only. For more information go here.
Mid Cape Cod Beaches
Mid Cape is made up with Barnstable and its 7 villages, Dennis, and Yarmouth.

- Craigville Beach, Craigville Beach Road, Centerville

- Long Beach, Long Beach Road, Centerville

Costs: Resident Annual Parking Permit is $50, Landlord Parking Permit is $475, Seasonal Parking Permit is $375, Weekly Parking Permit is $110.
DENNIS BEACHES
- Chapin Memorial Beach, Chapin Beach Road – Nonresidents can pay a daily fee to park, bathroom, lifeguards, boardwalk, no snack bar.
- Cold Storage Beach, Cold Storage Road – Resident parking only, lifeguard, bathrooms, snack bar, boardwalk
- Corporation Beach, off Rte. 6A to Corporation Road – bathroom, lifeguard, showers, snack bar, boardwalk, surf-wheel chair assessable.
- Howes Beach, Howes Street – Non-residents can pay a daily fee to park, no bathroom, lifeguards, snack bar, or boardwalk.
- West Dennis Beach, West Dennis Beach Road – Non-residents can pay a daily fee to park, bathrooms, lifeguards, showers, snack bar, boardwalk, surf-wheel chair assessable.
- Mayflower Beach, off Rte. 6A to Bayview Rd. to Dunes Road – Nonresidents can pay a daily fee to park, bathrooms, lifeguards, showers, snack bar, boardwalk, surf-wheel chair assessable.
Costs: Resident/taxpayer is $50, Seasonal is $180, Non-Resident is $360, and Weekly is $90. Daily beach passes are sold at each individual beach public parking area for $30/day – cash only.
YARMOUTH BEACHES
- Bass Hole (Grays), Center Street, Yarmouth
- Bass River (Smugglers), South Shore Dr, Yarmouth
- Bayview Beach, Bayview Street, Yarmouth
- Colonial Acres, Standish Road, Yarmouth
- Englewood Beach, Hampshire Street, Yarmouth
- Middle Beach, South Shore Dr, Yarmouth
- Parker’s River, South Shore Dr, Yarmouth
- Seaview Beach, Seagull Beach Road, Yarmouth
- Sea Gull Beach, Sea Gull Beach Rd, Yarmouth
- Windmill, River St, Yarmouth
Costs: Daily Parking is $20, Weekly Sticker is $75, Seasonal is $250, Resident sticker is $35.
Lower Cape Cod Beaches
Lower Cape includes four towns; Brewster, Chatham, Harwich, and Orleans.
The Town of Brewster offers 11 beaches on Cape Cod Bay, two beaches on freshwater ponds, and one Town landing. All are open to the public, with proper permits during summer, except First Light Beach which is reserved for Brewster residents. No fixed concession stands are available; mobile ice cream vendors visit some beaches. Portable toilets are available at all beach locations except Spruce Hill and Breakwater Landing, from Memorial Day through the October holiday weekend.

- Ellis Landing Beach, Ellis Landing Beach

CHATHAM BEACHES
- Cockle Cove Beach, Cockle Cove Road off Rte. 28 – bathrooms.
- Hardings Beach, Barn Hill Rd., from Rte. 28 – lifeguards, bathroom, showers, food trucks.
- North Beach, southern end of Nauset Beach on the Atlantic Ocean (only accessible by boat).
- Pleasant Bay (Jackknife), North Chatham – no bathrooms and free parking.
- Chatham Light Beach or South Beach, Shore Road by Chatham Light – no lifeguards and 30-minute parking.

HARWICH BEACHES
- Red River Beach, off Depot Rd. or Uncle Venie’s Rd. from Rte 28

Outer Cape Cod Beaches
Lastly, out Cape is made up of four towns, Eastham, Provincetown, Truro, and Wellfleet.
EASTHAM BEACHES
- Coast Guard Beach, off Rte. 6, Coast Guard Beach Road
- First Encounter Beach, Samoset Road
- Nauset Light Beach, off Rte. 6, Ocean View Drive
Costs: Taxpayer beach sticker is $25, one week visitor sticker is $70, two week visitor sticker is $125 seasonal beach sticker is $225. *2024 costs are not updated.
PROVINCETOWN BEACHES
- Race Point Beach, off Rte. 6, Race Point Road – Seasonal restrooms, showers, and changing rooms.
- Herring Cove Beach, end of Rte. 6 – Seasonal restrooms. Herring Cove has a snack bar, and evening concerts in July and August, and is an accessible beach with beach wheelchairs available from the lifeguards.
Costs: Provincetown beaches are part of the six Cape Cod National Seashore beaches. $25 per vehicle and $15 by foot. See more information here.
TRURO BEACHES
- Ballston Beach, Rte. 6 to North Pamet Road
- Corn Hill Beach, Corn Hill Road on Cape Cod Bay
- Head of the Meadow Beach, off Rte. 6, Head of the Meadow Road
- Corn Hill Beach, Corn Hill Road on Cape Cod Bay

WELLFLEET BEACHES
- Cahoon Hollow Beach, off Rte. 6 – a.k.a. The Beach Comber – Lifeguard in season, restaurant/bar, restroom facilities.
- Marconi Beach, off Rte. 6; boardwalk and dramatic dunes – lifeguards, bathrooms.
- Mayo Beach, Kendrick Street – free parking! Restrooms are available across the street at Baker’s Field, and one of the Cape’s best seafood joints (Mac’s) is within easy walking distance at the town pier. Beach wheelchair available in season.
- LeCount Hollow, At the end of LeCount Hollow Road (off Rt. 6) – Residents only, Not overly crowded in the summer. Blissfully quiet the rest of the year.
- White Crest Beach, off Rte. 6 – Lifeguards in season, restroom facilities, food concession.
- Newcomb Hollow, At the end of Gross Hill Road (off Rt. 6)- Lifeguards in season, restroom facilities, food concession.
