This post is about bathroom necessities for new home.
Toilet paper: toilet paper is the most obvious bathroom necessity for any bathroom. So please don’t forget to buy toilet paper for your new home. That would be the last thing you want to forget!
A toilet paper holder: depending on what your new home has in its bathroom already you may or may not need a toilet paper holder. I prefer a Q aesthetic toilet paper holder. Here are a few of my favorites.
A toilet paper storage: for toilet paper storage, I love this seagrass storage container. It would look so good in a coastal bathroom.
Hand soap: another most obvious bathroom necessity is soap. Not all hand soap is created equal one of my favorite places to shop for hand soap is actually HomeGoods, TJ Maxx, and Marshalls pro tip always check their clearance for cute soaps. I recently got a soap from TJ Maxx for a dollar and it came in a cute glass jar that I can reuse again.
Trashcan: small trash cans can sometimes be hard to find in a bathroom, especially if you want a cute one.
Hand towels: to dry your hands you will need hand towels, of course. Target always has a good selection of hand towels as well as TJ Maxx, HomeGoods, and Marshalls.
Bath towels: you are also going to need bath towels. There’s nothing worse than a bath towel that doesn’t absorb any water so I recommend doing some research before buying any towels to make sure you’re getting good quality.
Toothbrush holder: something that you probably almost forgot is a toothbrush holder because you’re going to need a spot to put your toothbrush. Toothbrush holders can vary in price, but if you’re looking for a good neutral one this one from Target works great.
Toilet bowl brush, and holder: to clean your toilet, you are going to need a toilet brush and holder for your toilet brush. Did you know that it is recommended for toilet bowl brushes to be replaced every six months? For this reason, I recommend getting a cheap toilet bowl brush because you’re going to need to replace it anyway.
Toilet bowl cleaner: my favorite toilet bowl cleaner is the Lysol brand. I have been using it for years and I think it works great.
Shower curtain: if you have a shower that requires a shower curtain then you most definitely need one of these. You will need the shower curtain liner and a shower curtain.
Shower curtain rod: if you need a shower curtain then you will most likely need a shower curtain rod and hardware to hang up your shower curtain. I recommend getting a shower curtain rod and hardware that does not rust. Pro tip, thismatches the Delta toilet paper holder and other fixtures perfectly.
Bath mat: for getting out of the shower or bath you will need a bath mat to keep your floors from getting soaked. A great place to shop for bath mats includes Target TJ Maxx, HomeGoods, and Marshalls.
Glass cleaner: glass cleaner is a bathroom necessity because I don’t know about you, but my mirror always gets dirty so quickly from brushing and flossing my teeth. All glass cleaner is definitely a bathroom necessity for a new home.
Disinfecting wipes: the last bathroom necessity that you most definitely need is disinfecting wipes. I like to usedisinfecting wipes because I just throw them away after using them especially when cleaning the toilet.
Bathroom Necessities for New Home Extras:
Candle: a nice-smelling candle is a nice touch in a bathroom. A candle is not a bathroom necessity, but I think it’s a good addition.
Shower caddy: if your shower does not have any storage which it most likely doesn’t then you definitely need a shower caddy. You have to check out this one from Amazon. It sticks to the corner of your shower, making it so much easier than hanging over the showerhead.
Glass storage jars: these glass storage jars are great for storing Q-tips swabs Cotton pads, or whatever else you may need to store. I think they are cute and aesthetic-looking.
