How to style your kitchen countertops:
1. Declutter & wipe down.
The first thing you’ll want to do is declutter your kitchen countertops. I’m willing to bet you have a clutter right now on your kitchen countertops so start with putting everything. After everything is put away it’s time to wipe down your kitchen counters. Now you have a clean pallet to start with!
2. Use a tray as a starting point.
My second tip is to use a tray as a starting point. What I mean by this is starting with a tray that you can use to put small items in to keep your kitchen, more organized and put together. For example, this tray is neatly holding kitchen essentials while looking aesthetic and put together.

3. Add a framed picture.
Framed art in the kitchen has become more and more of a growing trend. I think this trend is a good one and adds some art to your kitchen space. Either behind your stove or like this example below.

- Citrus Harvest Framed Wall Canvas Antique Gold from Target
4. Display cookbooks together.
There’s finally a good use for your cookbooks. Displaying your aesthetic cookbooks upright together is one of my favorite kitchen decor ideas. You could also stack them together down on your countertop.

5. Use your cutting boards as decor.
Using your cutting boards as decor is a great way to enhance your kitchen. I love the look of displaying cutting boards behind the kitchen stove however I’m not sure how practical that’s really is another great way to display. Cutting boards is to use them stacked up against each other against the backsplash.

6. Cute kitchen utensil storage.
Having your kitchen utensils out and ready to go for you makes life so much easier. Not to mention when you have a cute utensil holder. It adds a great piece of decor to your kitchen countertops.
Favorite utensil holders:
7. Adding small fake plants.
I’ve seen quite a few kitchen countertop ideas that use little fake plants like this one does. I think it adds some more character in earthiness to the kitchen. I’m sure you could also use real ones, but not all of us have a green thumb.
Favorite small fake plants:
8. An aesthetic fruit bowl.
I think adding a cute fruit bowl on your counter adds as much character as the ruffled one does. I love that. This fruit bowl is actually practical as you store fruit in there but also looks cute.
Favorite fruit bowls:
9. Use a basket for your cook books.
Another great way to style your kitchen countertops is to organize your cookbooks using a basket. I think this looks so cute and put together.

10. Marble tray for soaps
Moreover, styling your soaps next to your kitchen sink is a great way to elevate your space. I love the look of a marble tray, it feels so luxurious and put together.

11. Use your mixer as part of decor.
If you have a kitchen aid mixer like I do and use your mixer frequently then storing it on the counter might be the best thing. So why not use your mixer as part of your kitchen decor? You can easily make it look cute.
Favorite KitchenAid mixer:
12. Put salt & pepper together.
I don’t know about you but I like to have my salt and pepper out for convince. It’s so much easier to have it out than having to get it out of the cabinet. If you do a lot of cooking in your kitchen then you totally understand this!

13. Kitchen counter lamp.
Lastly, I have been seeing a lot of kitchen counters styled with a little lamp. I had never thought to put a little lamp on my kitchen counter but I think it looks so cute. Check out my favorite kitchen counter lamps below!
