Starting with the basic cleaning supplies that you will need we have paper towels, trash bags, dish soap, hand soap, a vacuum, and swifter duster. If there was one thing you could live without here to save money it would be the vacuum because you can always you a good old-fashioned broom.

Now that we have the basics out of the way, let’s get into the kitchen cleaning supplies. The kitchen is one of the most important areas in your apartment that will need to be cleaned. When it comes to cleaning your kitchen the main parts to clean include the floors, appliances, surfaces, and sink.

Kitchen Floors:
When it comes to cleaning your kitchen floors, I recommend always starting with a quick sweep. After you can swiffer the floors and then it’s time for the steam mop. The steam mop is definitely more of an investment product but is so worth it for keeping your apartment clean!
Kitchen Sink:
Moreover, when it comes to cleaning the kitchen sink and dishes these are some of my all-time favorite products. If you have ever struggled cleaning pots or pans then you absolutely need those steel wool pads, they are life changers because they work SO good! Also, we can’t forget the bar keeps friend that can do wonders for cleaning your kitchen sink among other things.
Kitchen Appliances:
Don’t forget about cleaning your kitchen appliances. You may have just moved in and you might have brand-new appliances but remember everything gets dirty! Cleaning the inside of my oven is one of my least favorite tasks but this oven cleaner makes my life easier and I only buy the fume-free one.
Kitchen Surfaces:
There are many surfaces to be cleaned in the kitchen: countertops, cabinets, backsplashes, small appliances, etc. When it comes to cooking chicken or any kind of meat always use the Clorox wipes to disinfect the cotuer. For giving my kitchen a quick cleaning I use this Method all-purpose cleaning spray, I love the smell.
Bathroom Cleaning Supplies List for New Apartment:
The bathroom is my least favorite room to clean but nonetheless, it needs to be done. The essential bathroom cleaning supplies include a toilet bowl scrubber, toilet bowl clean, disinfecting spray, scrubbing bubbles, and glass cleaner.
