Poshmark has 50 million users. It is no surprise that it is a great tool to sell and buy used and new clothing. Selling on Poshmark is simple and doesn’t take much. It is a great way to make money on the side. Here are my best tips you need to know to increase your sales on Poshmark.
- You need good descriptive title descriptions. I constantly see people forgetting this step. You need to add the brand, product type, style and print name (if you can), and size included in the title. This step is crucial. Without the brand, size, or style people will not know what you are selling. Add more details below the title. The more details the better.
- You need to interact with other Poshers by sharing and following. Poshmark is just like any other social media site like Instagram where you interact. You should like and share other Posher’s posts. The more you interact with people the more traffic you will receive in return and then the more sales you will make.
- You need good quality pictures. Your pictures do not have to be perfect, but they need to be clear and look decent. It just takes a minute or two with your phone camera.
- You need to share your products at least once a day. I have found that when I share my listings at least once a day if not more than I increase my chances of selling. Sharing your item takes it back to the top of the category. If you do not share then your listing is most likely down at the way bottom.
- You need to be responsive and active. It is important to check your comments and respond because these are your potential buyers.
- You can style your outfits for pictures. This goes along with good pictures. If you add the piece you are selling to an outfit chances are you will be more likely to sell. Buyers like the visualization. Also, other Poshers will be more likely to share your visually appealing photo.
- Package your products nicely with tissue paper and add a little note. Once you sell your items, you want to make sure you package them nicely. I got a package of poly mailers from amazon.
- Use stock photos of a model already wearing your item. It doesn’t take much to search the item you are selling online. This helps shoppers know what things look like on. It is best to have a mix of stock photos and photos you take for your item.
